robots-in-drag asked: I’m a film student who focuses on writing. I’ve wanted to write for TV animation for as long as I figured out that I could tell a story, and I get a lot of positive and some negative feedback from film and animation related people about my career goal. But I love film and animation equally and I don’t want to just stick to writing for just one medium. As an animator and a writer, do you think it matters that people who don’t come from an animation background try to work with people who are?
Anybody would be lucky to get either. Just write, write, write. And get good at it.
